Behind Companies came into existance a Saturday morning while reading my Instapaper queue. I realized one of my biggest interests was in how companies are run, and why they succeed or fail.

The site focuses on collecting and commenting on stories and nuggets of information of what makes a successful or bad company, with original articles written a few times a month. Subscribers have grown consistently to over 220 by fall of 2011.

I have designed and developed every iteration of the site, starting on Tumblr and today hosting it on my own instance of Wordpress. The theme was built using Starkers as the starting point. Site wireframes were built in Keynote.
