Big Design Week - Email Marketing

In October 2011, I was approached by Brian Sullivan, organizer of the Big Design Conference in Dallas to help advertise the upcoming Big Design Week to his email subscriber list.
My goal with the email: keep it simple and drive the user to click through to the site with ticket pricing information. My design hierarchy placed a click through to the site right at the beginning of the email. We also included photos of the speakers with their workshop summary to help engage users.
The result? The day of the campaign was the 5th largest traffic day to Big Design's website.
